Why the Facebook Manager App is Useful for Small Business Owners?

I do not own a small business nor do I have an extremely busy schedule that prevents me from monitoring my personal and professional social media accounts, but there are resources available for those who may fall under one of those categories. There are a great deal of resources available such as Hootsuite, Simply Measured, Google Analytics, and more that make it easier for companies to manage and monitor engagements on several social media accounts at one time.

However, many of us are not large companies with hundreds of employees on a social media team. Facebook has created the Facebook Manager App for small business owners, who are managing their company page and would like everything to be at their fingertips.

The Facebook Manager app allows you to get notifications specifically for your company page, schedule post, edit photos and upload directly to your page, and most importantly get insights. I think the ability to view your insights directly from your smart phone is very useful. You can monitor how well your recent post(s) are doing while on the go.

Most small business owners are very busy ordering inventory, dropping off bank deposits and do not have time to sit and monitor social media. Facebook has a page dedicated to demonstrating how the app works and the various features. (https://www.facebook.com/business/a/page/pages-manager-app)
